On Tuesday, Vice President Kama Harris and Gov. Tim Walz received 51.56 percent (2,226,459 total votes) of the vote versus 46.36 percent (2,002,018 votes) for Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance in Maryland, according to the Board of Elections.
Four years ago, the numbers were similar, with President Joe Biden and Harris garnering 54.1 percent (2,413,568 votes) over Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence's 44 percent (1,962,430 votes).
A breakdown of who voted Red and Blue, by county in Northern Virginia:
- Alexandria: 58,433 for Harris / Walz - 15,122 for Trump / Vance;
- Arlington: 95,133 for Harris / Walz - 23,624 for Trump / Vance;
- Clarke: 3,910 for Harris / Walz - 5,520 for Trump / Vance;
- Culpepper: 10,374 for Harris / Walz - 17,400 for Trump / Vance;
- Fairfax: 365,654 for Harris / Walz - 173,320 for Trump / Vance;
- Fauquier: 16,766 for Harris / Walz - 26,192 for Trump / Vance
- Frederick: 17,842 for Harris / Walz - 32,444 for Trump / Vance;
- Fredericksburg: 8,401 for Harris / Walz - 4,294 for Trump / Vance;
- Loudoun: 124,796 for Harris / Walz - 89,108 for Trump / Vance;
- Prince William: 124,465 for Harris / Walz - 85,951 for Trump / Vance;
- Rappahannock: 2,020 for Harris / Walz - 2,901 for Trump / Vance;
- Spotsylvania: 34,799 for Harris / Walz - 41,553 for Trump / Vance
- Stafford: 39,616 for Harris / Walz - 39,331 for Trump / Vance;
- Warren: 6,702 for Harris / Walz - 15,000 for Trump / Vance;
- Winchester: 6,224 for Harris / Walz - 5,112 for Trump / Vance.
The results were similar to the 2020 election, with no county deviating from the previous vote.
